    Infuriating adaptive pitch test thingy.
    http://tonometric.com/adaptivepitch/

0.375...... or 1.25 or higher - depending.

By the way, you have to click the arrow at the end of the test to find out how well you did, you don't have to fill in your scores from the other test or anything.

    Israel and mosaics
Just a couple of my pics from Israel (I am back safe) - we saw loads of very beautiful ancient mosaics - the best of which, I can't currently get at my pic of, grr grr, but here are some of the others I liked.

    Bah
I hate having colds, and I loathe not being able to sleep.

And life has reminded me again that you sometimes just can't please anyone - though I am not sure why I always seem to end up displeasing lots of people around the same time, which always makes me feel :( even if I didn't mean to. & I wish I didn't end up letting people down even if it is, as so often seems at the moment, a health thing or similar and not my fault/on purpose :(

I can't even keep up with ebay stuff for ptiy's sake...

On a positive note, I've actually nearly finished a mosaic. It's not the world's greatest masterpiece, but I think I like it, and hey, it's the first time I've actually finished something arty in months. A small achievement but at the moment I'll take what's going.

It has convinced me, though, that I hate mosaic-ing large amounts of sky............ :-o I can't tell you how sick I am of blue right now...

    How cool?

Hope this comes up all right.

I thought this mosaic-ing on a rock thing was really rather groovy. I need to work out if I should waterproof the rock beforehand, (I do have some suitable primer) but definitely something I'm going to try.

I also got some tiles which have inspired me for the mosaic I'm going to make for a friend - going to have some serious vibrant blue sky going on :D

Now all the work has been finished on the house, I can get my tiles out and see what I can do.....

It was a live recording, and far from perfect, but I'm still reasonably chuffed with it :)

    I hate colds :(
I have a vile cold and can't practice, or indeed do anything useful :(

Closing date for the Woodford concert is tomorrow - Jo has put up the running order. Getting to be exciting and "real" now. Can't practice flute at the moment though due to being bunged up.

Have a chesty cough, am really hoping this doesn't settle into a chest infection or I shall cry.......

I'm The James Bond Villain Personality Test!

I live in a fictional world of spies and blonde women with ridiculous names, and I like to give people plenty of options. Although whether they're villainous is not optional.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.
One of the few things more annoying than people being really stupid and immature about confrontation is people who are stupid and immature but THINK they are being really mature.

    Bah!

    lol

    That is all.

    Syrinx...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrinx_%28Debussy%29

The first link explains where the name comes from, the second explains about the piece far better than I could!!

It's one of those pieces that every flautist knows of and has heard a trillion times. I expect there are similar "stock repertoire" pieces for every instrument! I forget not everyone is a flautist *grins*
